Our Love Story: A Love Written by God ❤️
Our journey began in January 2026, when we met through Christian Filipina. We never imagined that meeting someone online would lead us to a love that would change our lives forever.
Even though we were in different countries, we made an effort to get to know each other through messages, video calls, and long conversations. Distance was not always easy, but we remained patient, committed, and willing to make our relationship work. We officially started our relationship on February 14, 2026—Valentine’s Day—which made our love story even more special.
In May 2026, Cristi traveled to the Philippines to see me in person. That visit made our relationship even stronger, and on May 12, he proposed to me. It was a beautiful moment that made us even more certain that we wanted to spend our lives together.
On July 29, 2026, we finally became husband and wife. It was a dream come true, and we were grateful to God for bringing us together despite the distance and challenges we had faced.
After our wedding, we worked hard to prepare the necessary documents and visa requirements so that we could finally live together. The process required patience, faith, and a lot of preparation, but we never gave up on our dream of building a life together.
In October 2026, I finally traveled from the Philippines to Belgium to reunite with my husband. After months of being in a long-distance relationship, we could finally wake up beside each other, share everyday moments, and begin our life as husband and wife in the same home. What once felt like a distant dream had finally become our reality.
Looking back, our journey reminds us that love is not just about finding the right person. It is also about commitment, trust, patience, and choosing each other even when the distance makes things difficult. Most importantly, we believe that God’s timing is always beautiful, even when we do not understand the journey ahead.
We are truly thankful to Christian Filipina for being part of the beginning of our story. We hope our experience encourages other singles not to lose hope. Sometimes, the person you have been praying for may be living in a different country, but with faith, honesty, and genuine intentions, two hearts can find their way to each other.
Our journey is only beginning, and we look forward to building our future together, supporting each other’s dreams, and creating a loving family someday.
