Hazel and I met in February 2024 on Christian Filipina. After a few days of exchanging messages, we began video chatting for three to four hours every day; we read the Bible together, prayed together, and sought God’s guidance for our future. We both felt as if He had brought us together, so I sold my house in August and moved to General Santos City in September 2024, where I rented a house in a subdivision. We spent every day together, and I quickly connected with her two teenage children. After a month, we got engaged, and we were married in December 2024. Since then, we have bought property and built a home in her province, where we have a beautiful view of Mt. Matutum. We’ve become deeply involved in our local church and community, and we truly love the opportunity to share our blessings and our home with others. I can honestly say this was one of the best decisions of my life; I truly love our life here in the Philippines.

I had been a widower for about 1 1/2 years when my two daughters said, “Dad, it’s time for you to find happiness again. Go on the internet and search.” I looked at hundreds of ladies until I found someone who’s interested in me. My youngest sister suggested I try a Christian dating site, so I joined Christian Filipina. I found a lady and sent her a wink; to my surprise, she called! We talked twice a day for over two months. I told Rhodora that I couldn’t commit over the phone, so I went to visit her and her family. I truly enjoyed those 28 days. On her birthday, I asked Rhodora to marry me, and she said yes! I returned to Minnesota on March 16. We still talk two or three times every day, and in October, I returned to Rhodora’s home for another 29 days. Our love has only grown stronger each day. Thank you, Christian Filipina, for helping me find the love of my life! ❤️❤️❤️
