We have created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to help our users/members understand what information we collect about them and what may happen to that data/information.

   2. You agree that to assist our members in meeting each other, we may feature their profiles in our editorials and newsletters that we send our members from time to time. 
   3. Your name, address, and telephone number are confidential and will not be posted on your profile. 
   4. Your profile is available for other members to view.
   5. Members’ profiles include a description of themselves, photos, their likes and dislikes, individual essays, and other information helpful in determining potential matches and connections.
   6. Your viewable profile should not include any identifying information about you.
   7. Please note that personally identifiable information will be stored and processed on our computers in the United States. 
   8. The laws on holding personal data in the United States may differ from the laws in Europe, but your data/information will be held and transmitted in a safe, confidential, and secure manner. 
   9. We automatically track certain information/data based on your behavior on our website using cookies and other devices. 
   10. We use this information for internal research on our members’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve you, and our community. 
   11. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on our website or not), which URL (whether this URL is on our website or not) you next go to, what browser you are using, and your IP address. 
   12. We use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of our website. “Cookies” are small files placed on your hard drive that assist us in providing customized services. For instance, "cookies" allow you to login one time and then use the site as a logged-in member for a period of time without logging in again.

   17. Google’s use of DART cookies enables it to service ads to our users based on their visit to our website and other sites on the internet

4. Use of your data/information:

We use your information/data in our files and other information/data we obtain from your current and past activities on our websites to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce, and in particular we may examine your information/data to identify members/users’ multiple Member ID numbers or aliases. 
   2. You agree that we may use personally identifiable information about you to improve our marketing efforts, analyze site usage, improve our content and product offerings, and customize our website’s content, layout, and services. These improve our website and better tailor it to meet your needs. 
   3. You agree that we may use your information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, is targeted to your interests, such as targeted banner advertisements, administrative notices, product offerings, and communications relevant to your use on our website.

5. Disclosure of your data/information:
   1. Due to the existing regulatory framework, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For example (but not limited to the foregoing), we may be forced to disclose your information/data to the government, law enforcement agencies, or third parties.
   2. Under certain circumstances, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or some members may abuse or misuse the information that they collect from our websites.   Thus, although we use industry standard practices to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect as guaranteed, that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private. 
   3. Currently, we do not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to any third party. However, under the following circumstances, some of your personally identifiable information may be disclosed:

   1. Under some circumstances, we may require some additional information, such as, but not limited to credit card details. We use this financial information, which includes your name, address, and other information, as well to bill you for the use of our services. 
   2. We use your financial information to check your financial information to bill you for services and/or products, to enable you to participate in our discount, rebate, or similar programs in which you may elect to participate. 
   3. By making a purchase, or engaging in any other activity or transaction that uses your financial information on our website, you consent to letting us provide your adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary financial information to our service providers, and such third parties as we deem appropriate to support and process your activities and transactions on our website. 
   4. These third parties may include credit companies and banking institutions used to process and support the transaction or activity.

By purchasing, registering, or making reservations for products or services of third parties offered on our website, or by participating in programs offered on our website that are administered by third parties, and that require you to submit financial information to use them; you consent to us providing your adequate, relevant and reasonably necessary financial information to those third parties.

   2. Advertisers:
   1. We aggregate (gather data across all our members’ accounts) personally identifiable information and disclose such information in a non-personally identifiable manner to advertisers and other third parties for other marketing and promotional purposes. 
   2. However, in these situations, we do not disclose to these entities any information that could be used to identify you personally. 
   3. Certain information such as your name, email address, password, credit card number, and bank account number are never disclosed to marketing companies or advertisers.
   4. We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our behalf. These companies may employ cookies and action tags (known as single-pixel gifs or web beacons) to measure advertising effectiveness.
   5. We do not share your mobile number with third parties or their affiliates for marketing, advertising or promotional purposes. 
   6. Any information that these third parties collect via cookies is completely anonymous.
   3. External Service Providers:
   1. There may be several services offered by external service providers that help you use our website(s). If you choose to use these optional services, and in the course of doing so, disclose information to the external service providers, and/or permit them to collect information about you, then their use of your information is governed by their privacy policies.

   4. It is possible that in the future, we and/or parent/subsidiaries merge with, or get acquired by, or any combination thereof by another business entity. Should such a combination occur, you should expect that we will share some or all of your information to continue to provide you with service(s). You will receive notice of such an event (to the extent it occurs) and we will require that the new combined entity follow the practices disclosed in this Privacy Policy. 
   6. Legal Requests:
   1. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies for any inquiries they might have, as well as other third parties to enforce laws (that include, but are not limited to intellectual property rights).

   7. Deletion of Data:

   2. If you wish to have your Facebook integration deleted (which allows you to log in with your Facebook account and allows your name and profile picture to be shared from Facebook to our website/service), follow these instructions:
   1. Go to your Facebook Account’s “Settings and Privacy” option;
   2. Scroll down to “Permissions” and select, “Apps and Websites”;
   3. Scroll down until you see, “Christian Filipina”;
   4. Select Christian Filipina, and click “Remove”. 
   
   
   
6. Use of Other Members’ Information:
   1. Our services also include access to instant messaging and chat rooms. As a member, you have access to other member’s ID No. and you might gain access to other contact information of the member (s) through regular use of instant messaging chat rooms. 
   2. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you agree that for other member(s)’ personally identifiable information that you obtain through instant messaging communication, chat rooms, or email; we hereby grant you a license to use such information for:
   1. Christian Filipina-related communications only that are not unsolicited commercial messages, and
   2. Any other purpose that such member agrees to after adequate disclosure of the purpose(s)
   3. Such information is not to be used to bully, harass, make false promises, commit fraud, or violate the law in the US, and any other jurisdiction where you and/or the member(s) reside. 
   3. In addition, under no circumstances, except as defined under this section, can you disclose personally identifiable information about another member to any third party without our consent and the member’s consent about such disclosure. 
   4. Christian Filipina and its members do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add a Christian Filipina member to your mailing list (email or physical mail or any other media of communication) without their express written consent after adequate disclosure. 
   
   
   
7. Accessing, Reviewing, and Changing your Profile/Personal Information:
   1. After your registration with us, you can review and change the information you submitted during registration through the Member Service Menu including your password and email address. 
   2. If you change your password and/or email, we may keep track of your old password and email address. 
   3. You can also change your registration information such as your name, address, city, state, postal code, country, phone number, profile, likes and dislikes, desired date profile, essays, and save search criteria. 
   4. Upon your written request, we will cancel your membership, and suspend contact information and your financial information from our active databases. 
   5. To remove your profile so that others cannot view it, you may also visit the Remove Your Profile section under Member Services. 
   6. To change your email delivery preferences, you may change your settings by clicking the link at the bottom of any email from our website or by logging into your account and selecting, “My Settings” from the “My Profile” sub-menu.
   7. We will retain in our files the information you have requested to remove for certain circumstances, such as to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our Terms of Service. 
   8. You also have the right to obtain a copy of your data/information stored with us in an accessible format.
   9. You also have the right to opt out of our using your personal information for targeted advertising, or profiling by sending us an email at [email protected].  However, we cannot guarantee we can still provide you with any membership services or browsing capabilities if you choose to opt-out.
   10. Furthermore, such prior information may never be completely removed from our database backups due to technical and legal constraints, including our stored ‘backup’ systems. 
   11. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.
   12. You can also opt-in to receive text messages/Short Service Messages (SMS) from us or third parties for marketing or advertising purposes by checking this box. By checking the phone number checkbox on Edit Profile page, you agree to be contacted by Christian Filipina through calls and SMS.
   
   
   
8. Password Control:
   1. You are responsible for all actions taken with your login information and password, including fees. 
   2. Therefore, we do not recommend that you disclose your password or login information to any third parties. 
   3. If you choose to share this information with third parties to provide additional services, you are responsible for all actions/omissions taken with your login information and password. You should therefore read and review such third parties’ privacy policy. 
   4. If you lose your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. 
   5. Therefore, if your password has been compromised, you should immediately change your password.

   1. Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this policy only addresses the use and disclosure of data/information we collect from you. 
   2. To the extent that you disclose your information to other parties, whether they are on our website(s) or other sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them.
   3. We only disclose your personal information to third parties that is adequate, relevant, and reasonably necessary concerning providing such marketing/advertising services.
   4. To the extent that we use third-party advertisers, they adhere to their privacy policies.

12. Universal Opt-Out Method (UOOM):
    1. You can also universally opt out of your data being shared with any third parties except those reasonably necessary to provide your services (such as third-party credit card processing companies) under our website by sending us an email at [email protected].
    2. However, if you choose to opt out of your information being shared with any third parties, then we will not be able to provide you with services under our website. 
    
    
    
13. Notice:
    1. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time based on your feedback, applicable laws, and our need to accurately reflect our data collection and disclosure practices.
    2. All changes to this Privacy Policy are effective after we provide you with 30 days' notice of changes being made by email.

14. Dispute Resolution:
1. In the event of a dispute arising related to the terms of this Privacy Policy, the dispute shall be resolved by binding virtual arbitration. 
2. The laws of New Hampshire, United States of America shall govern the arbitration. 
3. The arbitrator shall be mutually appointed by the parties, and paid for by the disputing party. 
4. If the parties cannot agree on an arbitrator, an arbitrator shall be chosen at random from https://www.nhmediators.org/.
5. The rules of arbitration shall be the Non-Administered Arbitration Rules listed under the CPR’s website as the most current at the time of the dispute. 
6. Any ambiguity between the arbitration rules and this Privacy Policy and/or Terms of Service shall be resolved in favor of this Privacy Policy and/or the Terms of Service. 
7. The arbitration shall be conducted in English.
