Like many foreigners who turn to online dating, I was hoping to find someone special while also being cautious about the many concerns and horror stories that can come with online dating.
One of the things that impressed me most about Christian Filipina was the professionalism and credibility of their service. They do a tremendous job of verifying the women who join their site, which helped give me confidence that the people I was communicating with were genuine. Even when a member did not have a photo posted, I felt that Christian Filipina took the necessary steps to ensure the integrity and credibility of its members. The staff was equally impressive. They were patient, considerate, understanding, and genuinely sincere throughout the entire process.
Signing up for an online dating service can be intimidating, especially when you hear so many negative stories about online dating. However, my experience with Christian Filipina was completely different. From the beginning, I felt that I was dealing with people who truly cared about helping their members find a meaningful relationship.
Our Journey After Marriage
Andrea and I were married in a civil ceremony on December 3, 2025. That was a very special day for both of us, but it was also the beginning of a new chapter—and a new journey of making sure everything was properly established for her here in the United States. One of the first things we worked on was obtaining her Social Security card. Thankfully, that process went relatively smoothly. The Social Security Administration has changed its procedures quite a bit, and the days of simply walking into an office and expecting to be seen are largely gone. Completing as much of the process online as possible and finding an office that could complete the remaining steps made a big difference.
Next, I wanted to get Andrea her military identification card so she could have access to the military base and the benefits available to her as my wife. That process also went fairly smooth. Our next major step was continuing through the USCIS process for her permanent residency. USCIS was very helpful with the various stages, including scheduling her biometrics appointment and, eventually, her interview at the USCIS office.
We took the preparation for her interview very seriously. We gathered all of the original documentation that had been submitted to Filipino Visa and organized everything, along with the additional documents Filipino Visa had recommended we bring, into a well-organized binder. We labeled and tabbed everything so that we could quickly find whatever document was requested. When we arrived at the USCIS office, the officer immediately noticed how organized we were. The interview and questions went extremely smoothly. I estimate that we were inside for less than 20 minutes, while we noticed that some other applicants were spending an hour or more.
I truly believe the preparation and guidance we received from Filipino Visa and Christian Filipina played an important role in helping us feel prepared for this process. They did an outstanding job of helping us understand what to expect and what we needed to have ready.
Life Together Today
Today, Andrea and I are truly happy. We have been enjoying our life together and exploring different places here in California. We also have
plans to travel to Virginia this December to visit her mother and spend Christmas with her sisters. We are both looking forward to spending that time together as a family. Of course, there is still one thing that would make our lives feel even more complete: having Andrea’s children here with us. A mother’s love for her children is incredibly strong, and being separated from them is one of the most difficult parts of our journey. We hope that, someday, we will be able to have her children closer to us and share more of our life together as a family.
We are especially excited about the future because Andrea’s youngest daughter is projected to have an opportunity to participate in a culinary internship here in the United States. We hope that opportunity becomes a reality and perhaps opens the door to even more time together in the future.
For Andrea and me, this journey has been much more than meeting online and getting married. It has been about building a life together, navigating the challenges along the way, and looking forward to what the future holds. And honestly, we couldn’t be happier with where our journey has taken us.
A Heartfelt Thank You
A big, heartfelt thank you to Christian Filipina and Filipino Visa. You have truly been a God-sent blessing in our lives. Because of your dedication, guidance, patience, and genuine care, Andrea and I were given the opportunity to find each other and begin this incredible journey together. We will always be grateful for the role you played in bringing us together and helping us every step of the way.
What started with an online introduction became a marriage, a family, and a future we both look forward to sharing. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Christian Filipina and Filipino Visa, for helping make our love story possible.
