I was looking for someone to share life with and start a partnership with. Cecil came into my life, and I was so happy. Cecil was beautiful, loving, kind, and generous. Someone I could see myself spending the rest of my life with.
Cecil made it well known that she was seeking a husband. I said that is great because I wouldn’t have come on a site such as Christian Filipina if I weren’t searching for the same. Cecil and myself continued to talk on FaceTime and make a plan to meet. I scheduled a flight to Manila and met Cecil. Because of work schedule, I could only be in town for a week. The time went so quickly.
After our time together, we made a plan that I would return by August and spend a longer time with her. So when I returned in August, we had our paperwork together, sat with a Christian Filipina representative, and started the process.
Afterwards, Cecil and myself went and spent time in Boracay. We came back to Manila and went to spend time in Bagio. After that, we hooked up with the children and had a nice trip to Batangas, and a weekend in an Airbnb in Tagaytay.
For the last trip to see Cecil in the Philippines, it was because I was missing her very much. We had created such a bond between us that it was hard to be away from each other. So I scheduled a trip to go to Bohol with her and her son. Now her son Keydon is coming home to the United States to live with us until we return to the Philippines to retire together.
Cecil and I have had a lot of great times together, and are thankful to our Lord for many more times and events together. I’m so excited that God saw fit to put me with Cecil. I love her so much. We are currently waiting for visa approval, and then I will be able to fly to the Philippines and pick Cecil up– fly home with her to get married and never be separated again.
