When I joined an online dating site, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I decided to create my profile, hoping to meet someone with shared interests, and proceeded to post it on the Christian Filipina website. After chatting with a few people, I connected with someone who truly understood me, but unfortunately, he passed away three months before our wedding date. Fast forward, I updated my profile on Christian Filipina, where I eventually met my husband, Don. We started chatting online in May of 2022. We shared our Christian values and love for the outdoors. After communicating for two months, we decided to meet in person. He flew to the Philippines in August 2022 to visit me and meet my family.

Before he left, we decided to get married in Alaska and subsequently filed for a K-1 visa. After one year and eight months, I finally got my visa approved. I came to Alaska in July 2024. We got married on September 21, 2024, and are happily married. We are going to celebrate our first anniversary this coming September 21st. I’m so grateful to have taken that leap of faith—it truly changed everything for me.

To those still looking here in Christian Filipina site, my advice is: “Give it a try and keep an open heart. You never know when or how love will find you.”
