At first, I wasn’t interested in joining dating apps because I was afraid of getting scammed and of men who would not be real with me. But because of my aunt, who recommended a dating app and advised me to try to find the right man for me, I joined. And now, after two years, we met in person, and we had a ceremony, and it made me cry with happiness. He is the one who said that we should have a ceremony in the Philippines so my family could experience and witness us being together, because he knew that my mother and father couldn’t experience it if we were going to get married in America. That’s what made me fall more in love with him because he is thinking of my family, not only me. That’s why I’m so lucky to have a man like him. He is such an amazing man; he is the best gift that God gave to me.
So now we are engaged and planning to get married again. That’s why we are going to start processing my K1 visa and build a complete family.
