Our love journey started with a hi and hello, then moved to chat messages and video calls twice a day. The time difference did not hinder us from communicating with each other. The “getting to know each other” stage became “liking each other,” until we found out we were falling in love. Christian Filipina gave us the venue to grow in love with each other. Then we wanted to meet each other in person, so Steve came to visit the Philippines. His first visit became an every-six-month visit to the Philippines. As we progressed, we decided we did not want to part ways anymore. We want to be together always.

We met online on January 5, 2021.
I arrived in the U.S. on December 6, 2024.
We got married in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 15, 2025.

Now we are happily married and based in Minnesota, USA.
We are so thankful for Christian Filipina Dating Site. You will always be a part of this great family.

God bless and more power.

Haslyn and I met on Christian Filipina in November 2016. She was working in Hong Kong as a nanny and housekeeper/cook for a Chinese family that had two kids: a boy, 4, and a girl, 12, I believe.

We seemed to hit it off fairly quickly on the website, and I went to visit her in Hong Kong three times in 2017. On one of the trips, we went to San Fernando City in Luzon to meet her family. We got engaged and applied for a U.S. Fiancé Visa. That was granted in March 2018, so we came into the U.S. in March and got married on the 25th of that month.

Since we are both committed Christians, the Holy Spirit enabled us to adjust to each other. Although it was difficult for Haslyn to leave the two kids she had raised for 16 years, we seemed to make the adjustment.

Haslyn got her Green Card and began working part-time at a Christian art gift company. She had been supporting her family in the Philippines during her time in Hong Kong, and she felt it was more appropriate for her to continue doing that rather than for me to send money to them. Haslyn also got her Certified Nursing License and began sitting the elderly.

Real estate taxes in Illinois became too much for our income, and we built a new house in Indiana and moved there in June of 2021. We had a good time selecting a house and designing it together. Our real estate taxes are now 1/3 of what they were in Illinois. Haslyn has been working for Panda Express Chinese Restaurant here and loves it. Her manager is from the same community in the Philippines as Haslyn, so they can speak Ilocano. They have a wonderful relationship together.

Haslyn and I attend a Filipino/American Sunday School Class at the church where we attend. I have the pleasure of teaching that class, and Haslyn has made a couple of good friends there.

Haslyn and I have experienced some nice travels together. We took a Viking River Cruise up the Romantic Danube River. We attended a Mozart Strauss Concert in Vienna as part of that cruise. We took a second Viking River Cruise from Paris up to Rouen and visited the beaches at Normandy. At that time, we visited the girl whom she had raised in Hong Kong. Viviene is now married to a Swiss man and they live in Zurich. They have two little girls. I’ll send a photo I took of them. A month ago, we visited Rome, Sorrento, and the Amalfi Coast together.

This December, we are booked on a Viking Ocean Cruise visiting Athens and making its way up the Italian coast to Rome. We very much enjoy seeing the old historical sights in Europe.

Haslyn has far exceeded any expectation that I had for a wife. She keeps our house immaculate. She can cook American, Chinese, Thai, Italian, and of course Filipino foods. She is a wonderful host and often hosts our Filipino/American Class for Sunday lunch. As you know, the Filipinas love to cook and share their dishes together.

She is concerned for me and my health and watches what I eat, you know? She is also concerned that I don’t injure my back by carrying heavy objects. She loves me and shows it often.

A warm greeting to everyone reading this. I pen this heartfelt message not merely as a story, but as a living testament that true love—pure, enduring, and transformative—can find its way to you, no matter how many miles may stand in between.

In the quiet corners of last year, I found myself on CF, driven by a longing not for fleeting pleasure, but for something sacred—love in its truest form. I yearned for a bond anchored in depth and intention, not in temporary thrills. But the path, as it often is, was not easy. I met many whose desires were shallow: some sought a partner to mold and command, others only wished for momentary company, escapism, or convenience. It wounded my spirit, and more than once, I stood on the edge of surrender, ready to walk away from this search.

And then… came him.

Timothy. Even his name carried a softness I couldn’t ignore. Handsome, yes—undeniably—but it was the kindness in his words, the calm in his presence, that pulled me in. We first spoke on June 18, 2024, and even through a screen, there was an inexplicable ease. A knowing. As though the universe whispered, “This is the one.”

I was navigating a personal storm then—my mother’s health was declining, and I was breaking in ways I couldn’t speak of. But Tim didn’t turn away. He became my constant, my quiet strength. He walked with me through the shadows, and with every step, our connection grew—gentler, stronger, more profound. Then came July 5, the day he asked me to be his, officially. And not long after, he said those cherished words: “I love you.” I remember the tears falling during our video call—tears of joy, of relief, of finally knowing I was loved for all that I am. It was a sacred moment. One I’ll hold in my soul forever.

Timothy is not adorned in riches, but he possesses a wealth that many fail to grasp—humility, loyalty, compassion. He is a man of substance, of quiet integrity. I already believed he was rare, but when we met in person in the soft, pine-scented embrace of Baguio, I knew. Spending over a week together only confirmed what my heart already held as truth—he is unlike any man I’ve known.
He does not control; he nurtures. He does not demand; he listens and understands. He is not jealous or possessive; he is secure, steadfast, and faithful. A one-woman man with a heart designed for commitment, a soul that believes in forever. He dreams not just of love, but of building a life. A provider, a partner, a true husband in the making. Oh—and that smile? It could melt even the most hardened heart. His laugh? A song I never want to stop hearing.
Though I’ve always carried the “date-to-marry” mindset, I must admit—I never expected it to become this real, this beautiful. But here we are. From nightly conversations about our days to dreaming about the details of our future wedding (hopefully this year, if God allows), we are writing our love story one chapter at a time.

To you, my Timothy—my peace, my answered prayer—I am endlessly grateful that God crossed our paths. Thank you for loving me so patiently, so deeply, so purely. I cannot wait to be in your arms again… and one day soon, to walk toward you in white.
I love you more than words can ever say. And I will love you still, even when the stars forget how to shine.

To the CF family—thank you from the depths of my heart for creating this platform. It was through your space that I found the one my soul had been searching for. You’ve not only built a site, you’ve built bridges between hearts. I am forever grateful.
