Quentin and Aileen met on a Christian dating site called Christiana Filipina during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Quentin was inspired by stories from people around him of the kindness, loyalty, and generosity of Filipinos and decided to seek out a potential Filipina partner. Coincidentally, intrigued by a travel show shot by her favorite band (BTS) in New Zealand, Aileen decided to filter recommendations from the dating site to men living in New Zealand.
