Society is slowly losing the value and meaning of relationship. Divorce and breakups are skyrocketing. The reason for that is, people don't understand the true meaning of realtionship anymore. They enter the relationship with an deluded mindset. They have certain expectations and a picture of what it should be and as soon as it's not met they move on.

The key to having an successful relationship is commitment and loving yourself and God first before you can love someone else. How can I love you, when you don't love yourself?

Also do not depend your value and happiness on someone else! That will leave you with broken expectations. Don't seek temporary pleasure, you will be chasing for it your entire life.

Don't make decision with emotions involved. Lots of relationships fail because decisions were made under heavy emotional turmoil. Emotions come and go for this reason wait for the emotion to pass then decide.

Be humble and enjoy the small things in life. Keep striving and always self reflect in life. Develop your character because that is the only thing you will be taking with you upon death.
