G'day. I am Jim, an easy going, laugh loving baby boomer and retired returned serviceman. I have been recently widowered. But I think I am ready to make a new start to life. I figure I have about 30 years to go and I wish to make the most of them.
I am usually a very positive person who is light hearted and young at heart. I refuse to grow up as then you grow old and die. I always expect the best outcomes in life. Principely beause I am a believer with a profound trust in Jesus. As the old song says, 'He will carry me through'.
I am very healthy and, once again, working on my fitness thus I enjoy an active and productive lifestyle. My principle interest at the moment is lawn bowls and the little dog (Winston) my wife left me to look after. So they obviously need broadening. I need a companion to encourage me in that.
At this time my greatest need is a lady who will hold my hand and be my best friend. All I can offer in return is honesty, trust, loyalty and, given time, my unconditional love.
