Friendship first. If one is unable to be a friend first, how could they ever be something more. As friends each other can just be themselves. My wife (home with Jesus) and I had a marriage that was a gift from God that started out as friends.
What qualities do I look for in a relationship. Utmost more now than ever, faith in Jesus Christ. After a genuine biblical saving faith, the fruits of the spirit: patience, kindness, love, faithfulness, joy, self-control, gentleness, faithfulness, and peace.
Preferred age ranges, I prefer younger. My wife was 45 when she went home to be with the Lord. Around 39 - 47. Age range is variable, could be older too. First there is that initial she is cute but what matters is substance. What are her beliefs, personality, how she treats others, was she vaccinated, character and more. If one bases a relationship on looks....it will not succeed.
