"Art is a spiritual transaction." I've come to the Philippines primarily to work on my desire to compose music. It would be nice to have the friendship of that special lady who would understand that. Maybe you have your own creative desires? Maybe we can encourage and inspire each other to realize the desires of our hearts? Most importantly, can we together strengthen our faith in God and accomplish everything He has planned for us.

To Obey is Music

How can I remember
to obey is music.
Those moments of clarity
that will allow the music to be born
as though from thin air, from nowhere.
A note here and there
come together
to move the music forward.
Connecting to the music that came before.
Creating a sound that begins to touch my soul
Let the music speak to my soul.
My soul that longs for more music.
My soul speaks to my heart
About the love and beauty of the music.
My soul and my heart speak to my mind.
The music is there,
waiting, waiting to be created.
New music created to return to them.
Soul and heart.
If only I remember,
To obey is music.
