"Woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from his side to stand with man. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

Dear Future Husband,

All of my life I have prayed that God would bless me with a husband who would bring me closer to Him. There have been many nights where I laid awake praying that God would grant me the patience to wait on His perfect timing when he would bring us together. I have prayed that God would surround you with a multitude of loving family members and friends that would bring you closer to Him, and that He would guide you to me.

It is crazy to think that God has created you just for me, and that you are walking on the same planet as me right now. I hope that you will continue to follow His word, and that His word will lead you straight to me.

I am in no way a perfect person - I have my flaws, but I know that you have your's as well. I don't expect you to be perfect all the time, since no human on this planet is. It is ok for you to make mistakes because how else are we supposed to learn? I know that our marriage won't be without hardships or trials, but God wouldn't have brought us together if He thought that we couldn't make it through. After all, Isaiah 43:2 says, "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you." I know that we'll have our fights and hardships, but I pray that those battles will only make our love stronger and bring us closer to Him.

When I say "I do" at our wedding - I mean it no matter what. I will stand by your side in sickness and in health, during the good times and the bad, until death do us part. I promise that I will support your desires and dreams, and that I will lift you up when times are tough. I will hold your hand when times are tough, and I know that you will do the same for me. I will not desert you. I know that our marriage won't be perfect, but I pray that the good will greatly outshine the bad.

I want our marriage to be full of laughter, love, and adventure. I want to travel the world with you and experience as many of God's creations as possible, and I want to share both our love and His love with people wherever we go.

If God has it in His plan for us to have children, I hope that we will be great parents - that our love for each other will only grow as our children grow up. I want our love to serve as an example to our kids that true love exists because the world we live in now has become so overridden by sin and hate. I also want them to have a strong relationship with Him, and I pray that we will be able to guide them towards His word just as He guided us to each other. I know that you will be a great father - the kind of father that will be on the sideline at every one of your son's games or attend every one of your daughter's dance recitals. I pray God will bless us with the patience, compassion, and love to be the best parents that we could possibly be.

I pray that our love will flourish and grow over time - that our love will only grow stronger as the years go by and as we grow older. I hope that we will be that elderly couple sitting in our rocking chairs on the front porch still madly in love with each other until the very end. I want our love to be passionate and last a life time. Just know that I will always love you no matter what.

Love always,

Your Future Wife
