Not much in life is more exciting than finding new love. The swirl of emotion and excitement is often indescribable, and it is easy to get carried away. We are wise to seek God’s wisdom as we begin a new love story, so that we may avoid being misdirected by runaway emotions and begin our journey on the right path.

Precious Father, we thank you for setting us on a new journey in partnership together. We thank you for the joy that we are experiencing and ask that you temper our emotions with your wisdom, so that our new-found love may form healthy roots in the rich soil of your love.

Guide us in your ways so our love may grow strong in you. Remain with us on our journey, so that our partnership may honor you by the love we show to one another. Use us to your glory, so that our love may reflect yours for all who see us. Amen


Many of the things we anticipate and dream about are much less glorious in real life than they were in our imaginations. There is one event, however, that is better than we can imagine and beyond our wildest dreams. When Jesus returns to take us home to be with our Father, it will be far better than we can ask, imagine, dream or think. Maranatha — Come Lord Jesus!

Before marriage, pray. While we are yet single, we must pray, not only for our future spouses, but for God to prepare our hearts as well. Those we shall one day marry should indeed be covered in prayer, however, our hearts need tilling as well, as a farmer prepares his field.

Lord Jesus, I come before You today and pray for my future marriage. Please prepare me and grow me into the spouse my future partner needs. Please grow in me the fruit of godliness, prayerfulness, faithfulness, joyfulness, and goodness. Harvest the fruits of Your Spirit in my heart so that my future spouse has a soft place to fall. ♥️

Love is patient, love is kind, and love keeps no record of wrongs. God, help me cultivate the soil of my heart in such a way that my love resembles Your love, deep, true, and forever unfailing.

I like watching tv, bicycling, walking, fishing, crabbing, camping, swimming, exercising, eating, cooking. I like the snow. When I am in church I am a better person.



I want to grow plants, vegetables, raise chickens, rabbits, a cow maybe horses. Grow our own food.
