Nothing spells happiness more for me than drinking a good cup of coffee, in my pajamas while reading the morning news, or a book on history or philosophy. Or perhaps sitting by a campfire, drinking a craft beer and smoking a really good cigar. However as great as that sounds, I'd trade that in a second to wake up next to my wife, start brewing coffee for both of us, and whip-up a gourmet breakfast to surprise her with.

I'm not here for hookups or one night stands. I'm looking for a serious, committed relationship that will lead to marriage. When it comes to dating, call me old fashioned but I still believe a man should hold doors open for ladies, and as a general rule he should pay for dates. Not because you women need it, obviously you are capable of taking care of yourselves. Rather it's because we men need it! Let's face it, men too easily take women for granted, and become complacent and lazy in a relationship. Let's also be honest, you women put up with a lot from men, and you deserve a man who is willing to make sacrifices for you.

I love sports, hunting, fishing, grilling-out, fixing things, and other "guy" stuff. At the same time I'm a total geek (technology, sci-fi, graphic novels, etc). I listen to music of all genres, and I prefer indie and foreign movies, but I do enjoy some mainstream blockbusters.
