I want a woman who will bring me soup when I am sick, kisses just because she loves me, and who will turn my head because she is always beautiful and desirable in my eyes. I don’t want a bossy, or dramatic, or high maintenance woman, but a woman who embodies Proverbs 31. I am a simple man with a lot of experience in life, and I have no tolerance of lying. My favorite saying is from the Roman philosopher Seneca, who said, “It is not that life is short, but that we waste so much of it.” I want a home filled with love and laughter. I have always been a good and decent man, and a good provider, but I have not yet found my match. I love to cook, and I am good at it, so I want a woman with her own skills. If your mother taught you to cook, then I am ready to taste your adobo, pancit, lechon, crispy pata, bulalo, tapsilog and longsilog, bistek tagalog, lumpia, chicken inasal, and mango float. I have seen pictures of these foods, and I am interested to try them. I believe in God, and I am Episcopalian, which would feel familiar to Catholics. I recognize my Biblical role as a husband, and I am looking for my Eve.
