I grew up in Michigan and moved to Alaska in 1979 and have lived above the Arctic Circle since 1985. 4 of my Grandchildren are 1/2 Inupiat Eskimo and 1/2 white. We do have Filipinos here in Alaska and even our little arctic town here.

Filipino culture and lifestyle is almost identical to the Eskimo culture here. The only difference is we wear fur and you wear leaves and coconuts HA HA!
