My wife of 29 years passed away 2 years ago from cancer and it was so hard learning how to live again without the love of a wonderful woman. But with the help of God and my amazing family and friends, I now feel that I am ready to begin sharing my life again with someone. My plans are to buy a home in the Philippines and I pray that God will bless me with another chance at love that will be as good as the one that I lost. All of the great things we experience in life are always better shared. We were together almost every day for over 29 years and I was constantly at her side to care and comfort her in the last year of her illness.
I have been an engineer with a global German automotive company for over 11 years but I also paint commissioned portraits in oils. I love art of any kind and have traveled throughout Europe and the US visiting as many museums as I can.
Reading poetry is also a passion of mine and sharing some of my favorite poems with my love is something I miss and dream of doing again (I'm a romantic at heart!)
It would be wonderful to find someone who would be interested in learning about my passions as much as I want to learn about theirs and what makes them happy. I believe (and know) that a successful relationship goes both ways.
