For quite some time now I
Have gone on living life.
Reaching out for real love,
But coming back with strife.
You see I didn't care
Just what the Bible says.
Thought for sure that my case
was dif'rent from the rest.
God opened up my eyes
To what I really seek.
A virtuous woman
Is like strength for the weak.
A virtuous woman
Is worth her weight in gold.
Much more than that, truly,
Her value is untold.
A virtuous woman,
A gift from God above.
She'll take a broken heart
And fill it up with love.
A virtuous woman
Holds inward beauty rare,
Which shines through outwardly,
For she loves without spare.
She is long sought after,
Although some may not know.
If love is the desire,
She's where the heart should go.
I know I don't deserve
Anything that is good.
A sinner saved by grace,
But Father, if You would;
A Virtuous woman
I pray will be the one.
If You'd be so gracious,
My God, Your will be done.
