Despite not achieving my childhood ambitions of being an astronaut (enjoyed school physics but hated chemistry, plus vertigo doesn't help)

I like to be busy, but sitting around and quietly contemplating is fun too. I try to seek out a laugh and despite life's little pressures, try to stay optimistic and or whinge.
In my free time I watch movies, social tennis, gym sometimes. Oh and I LOVE to cook. OK that is my only lie. I enjoy it, but it's not a great love. Here's the deal; I cook, and we share the dishes! I do a great pasta, and omelettes, my stirfrys are nice, but never quite mastered the art of poached eggs. I am often left with something that at best resembles undercooked rubber. My cold milk and breakfast cereal I'm told (by me) is sensational.
I like to think of myself as reasonably considerate of others, a little shy with people I meet for the first time. I am in between introvert and extrovert, but I am comfortable in myself. I am honest and trustworthy. I would expect my match to have the same qualities.
