I took a lot of time to write my profile because I want to make sure you have a good idea of my personality, lifestyle and faith to see if we are compatible before we begin talking a lot. So please read this and see if it is something that interests you. Currently I am living in New York. I am seeking a fun, loving, Godly marriage with a Christian woman who is looking for the same thing. My career and work is in the United States so she must have a desire to live in the United States as well.
I have never been to the Philippines and I guess I am on this site to see if God has someone He wants me to meet. God has blessed me with a young and healthy energy. I am into sailing, tennis, beach and indoor volleyball, bike rides and mellow rides on the motorcycle to some place by the sea and a good café. I can take or leave the motorcycle, it’s just another hobby to enjoy a nice day if the mood strikes. I’ve traveled a bit to Italy, Spain, Iceland and all over the Caribbean, Mexico and the U.S. Worked in Manhattan for 10 years but also appreciate living in a quieter setting by the coast or small town. I’m a self-employed CPA with a small tax and business consulting practice. It’s a simple lifestyle with a busy time during tax season and a lot of flexibility the rest of the year. I work 95% remotely from home and have a lot of interesting clients throughout the US and some international. I want to do more for the Lord and after finishing one area of service at my church I am now praying about the next way to serve.
I'm easy going, like a good sense of humor and hopefully seeking marriage with a person who is also dedicated to their Christian faith. She is loving and trusting and enjoys being active and helping others. I love sailing, boating, paddle boarding, tennis, beach volleyball and can usually find some type of pleasure in any activity including an occasional mellow motorcycle ride to an outdoor cafe. I worked in Manhattan for many years, traveled a bit and have been in my own business practice for 19 years. I am not financially wealthy but I am very comfortable financially with no debt and a fun relaxed lifestyle. It’s a simple lifestyle with a busy time during tax season and a lot of flexibility the rest of the year. I want to do more for the Lord and after finishing one area of service at my church I am now praying about the next way to serve. I envision living in a nice house in a warm climate in the U.S. along the coast by the ocean and beaches like North Caroline, South Caroline, Georgia or Florida but I am open to other places. I am also willing to live on a big boat in the Caribbean for a while or buy a motorhome and tour the U.S. These are just fun options, but if my future wife wants to settle down in a house then that is fine also. I think it is healthy when both people in the relationship work and have jobs (any type of job is fine) but if there are young children involved then the man should do most of the providing financially. Being self-employed sometimes requires long hours but also enables me to take advantage of nice days, spontaneous trips and entertain relocation for the right relationship. I'll put a sweater around your shoulders before you say your cold and enjoying dinner in or out with friends, family or someone I care about is one of my favorite things.
My typical week (when not in tax season) is a few hours work in the morning, then tennis or volleyball in the afternoons or evenings, visiting with friends, men’s bible group, church on Sunday (sometimes twice if I go back for the evening service), long drives to a lunch or dinner (often alone) and then some down time where I am asking God to lead me.
My parents were married for 65 years and together for 71 as they met when Mom was 12 and Dad was 14. We just lost Dad a few months ago and Mom is doing well (as a woman of strong faith). We lost quite a few people in our family in the past year through age and tragedy, and while we have our peace and joy in the Lord, it can be especially hard when you don’t have a family of your own. I have learned first-hand what God meant in proverbs about living a Godly life in your youth and then also building your house on rock so later in life you are surrounded by family and people in Christ. I maintain a fairly happy and joyful lifestyle and am just seeking what the Lord wants and hopefully that means a partner with a similar outlook. Blessings
