Timing, fate, chemistry; do they really exist or are they reasons we give ourselves for our
own failures.
There is often talk of chemistry; the spark between two people that drives a desire to
physically connect. In order to allow that spark to ignite we need to first be emotionally
and mentally willing. Although I believe physical attraction is important, a spark, the
butterflies; what happens if you're not emotionally or mentally ready? It's really quite
simple, as sex starts in the brain. If our brain is not prepared to go there then we will not
feel the Sparks. If there is a mental or emotional block, the sparks will not ignite. There
may be chemistry but we block it. So if chemistry is created by thought waves that
release chemicals in our brain, mentally and emotionally we still need a willingness to go
there.
They say timing is everything. ie: he's not ready for relationship, great guy but I'm not
ready to go there, we can’t seem to find time to meet. He was a nice guy but I think the
timing was off. It is timing everything? Or is it away of masking our emotional
unavailability. Because when we are ready to take a risk and make an effort we find
time.
Fate, destiny, providence, are words to describe circumstances beyond our control. Is
fate set by a power greater than ourselves? Or is it simply a readiness of two people in
the same place, wanting the same thing at the same time that makes us feel connected to
one another. I guess that’s what you call timing!
There are many things that are out of our control. I suppose in the grander scheme of
things destiny would be one of those. However we need a readiness and willingness to
take a risk on love, to embrace our destiny. That is within our control. Perhaps
Providence has been laid out before us, but it is up to us to be ready to walk the path.
What if you were walking down the street one day and walked right by your soul mate,
twin flame, other half. What if you didn't recognize one another simply because your
mental and emotional baggage has you blinded?
Whether you believe in soul mates or not don't we have a moral obligation to ourselves
to learn our life lessons, to free ourselves from the burden of our past; an obligation to
ourselves to welcome life and love. When we are free from the past we are able to live in
the present! I guess in the end I’d have to say that I do believe in timing, fate and
chemistry but the bottom line is if you are not ready chances are it will pass you by
without you knowing it was within your grasp! So it won’t matter anyway...............
