The "Americanized" Woman

Update | Cancel

Posted on March 05,2014

As an American citizen, it both hurts and shames me to admit the reality that being "Americanized" truthfully takes on a negative meaning (particulaly for us American men who are fed up with the relational nonsense here in our homeland).

I wish that the idea of being Americanized would be more closely associated with being adventurous, prosperous, caring, giving, loyal etc. Unfortunately it carries the connotation of being greedy, materialistic, spoiled etc.

Now I want to be abundantly clear that each nation has its general problems and challenges and we need to look at the heart of individuals rather than judging them by the place of their birth (although in many cases people absorb their culture by default).

Perhaps there will become a time when being Americanized carries more positive thoughts.

Greetings,

We need to bring back the constitution and power to the people instead of big government which has destroyed our constitution and freedoms. All governments are corrupt and will pilage and steal from the people forever if we allow it.History is proof.

Our founding fathers said it was up to us the people to act and preserve our freedoms (constitution) with Guns, violence and death if need be.

I would think it would be best to eradicate all governments, banks, courts, laws, and find a solution where people have the power and can do voting and such online or at a local community center.

So it is our fault as americans to let this tragedy happen in our country. We need real leaders now to restore america to its greatness such as Jesse Ventura.

I'm a little sleepy, so I need to make sure this is not a dream...Finally, an American who actually gets it!!

I wish more people would see what you have seen Kevin.

It is truly tragic that our Constitution has been trampled and spat upon. I am all for the solutions that you have listed.

Truth be told the land that I live in is not even really America anymore but some abominable excuse for a nation. We have to deal with a continued influx of new laws, abuse from the IRS, genetically modified foods, gross immorality, greedy corporations and politicians who don't even know the basics of law! Oh I forgot, the beauty of radical feminism smh.

Jesse Ventura already has my vote for President!

I believe in the first paragraph your describing anarchy, mob rule. One only has look at the French Revolution to see the result, dictatorship and war.

Our Country was founded on the Rule of Law, the Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Freedom of Worship. The former WWF strongman, Jesse Ventura is not going to bring this Country together.

One thing I learned from my travels in the Philippines is the incredible resilence of her people in the face of corruption, calamity, and war. I measure the Philippines not by the goverment, but by the strength, warmth and humor her people. We as Americans can learn a lot.

I suggest work one's inner demons to free the self, the rest will follow.

I thought this was about "the americanized woman", not corrupt govt.? The political system in the US has been corrupt long before I was born, it's not changing anytime soon.
