Some say that God only hands out trials we’re strong enough to bear. I sometimes suspect He’s got a rather optimistic view of me! Yet, here I am, still standing, so perhaps He’s onto something. Life doesn’t cut anyone any slack, and I like to think my enthusiasm for it helps cover up the scars, both the visible and the hidden ones.

God knows how much I adore life, and whatever it throws my way, I won’t be caught living it halfway! I’ll gladly dive into your blue skies, seek shade under your trees, and hum along in harmony with you. But until I can stand barefoot on the pearl of the Orient seas (Mahal ko ang Pilipinas), forgive me if I remain a little quiet. You see, I’m not daydreaming about a long-distance affair; I’m after the real thing. After all, the more air between lovers, the harder it is to breathe.

Oh, and in due time, I shall post most pictures of this good old frame of mine. Please note I will stay a free member until I put my feet on the ground of the philippines, so I will not be able to read messages.
