Retired Catholic elementary school teacher of 28 years, living on a stable Teacher's pension of 50, 000 cad yearly for life indexed, divorced but annuled by the Catholic Marriage Tribunal in Toronto in 2015.
In my retirement have chosen to take care of my mom who is elderly and suffers from a memory and cognitive disorder. I have leased a property and cared for her 24/7 for 8 years. She fell and broke her hip in August and it was decided to put mom into a home. My middle sister and myself continue to visit mom daily. We share.
She gets 24/7 care at the old folks home.
My two kids are now grown up, educated, given faith, social skills and sports and music participation. I am very proud of them.
